Hybrid Class

What does this
class include?

Literature-based units including art, science, music, history, nature studies, and geography built around exciting themes!

Systematic phonics-based reading, writing, and spelling instruction

Mathematical reasoning, problem solving and foundational skill building

Focus on character development, emotional regulation, and communication skills

Play, movement, and fun incorporated into everything we do!
Space is limited! Minimum of four students; maximum of eight students.
Who
This mixed-age class is for students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. Students must be 5 years old by August 1st and be fully potty trained to register. Special needs students are welcome! An assessment will need to be completed prior to final registration to make sure that each child is well suited for the class.
When
This is a two-day a week program that runs
Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 9:00am-12:00pm
for 16 weeks each semester. The 2024-2025 semester dates are listed below.
Fall Semester:
August 20 - Dec 19th
(no class on 10/15, 10/17, 11/26, 11/28)

Spring Semester:
Jan 14 - May 15th
(no class on 2/18, 2/20, 4/1, 4/3)
Priority registration will be given to returning students for the spring semester. Any spots unfilled by returning students will be open for registration on Dec. 5th. I do not offer one day options as the class is designed to be attended both days.
Where
This class is located in my cozy home classroom. We will primarily utilize my library/classroom space, the basement for active play during incliment weather, kitchen for art and snack time, and my yard and garden for recess breaks and play.

My home is located in north Fort Wayne just off of Coldwater and Dupont road. I will send my specific address once registered.
How Much
The cost is $60 per week ($30 per day) for a total of $965 per semester in addition to the registration fee.​ There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee each semester that holds your child's place in the class and is used to cover supplies.
The monthly payments must be paid by the first day of class each month. Monthly payments range between $180 and $240 depending on the number of weeks in a given month.

I am an ESA provider and am able to accept those funds. I am also an approved vendor with Braintree Academy. This is a non-religious program.
